Greif, Sheppard earn NAIA Scholar-Athlete awards

A pair of College of Idaho women's golfers, Mandy Greif and Erica Sheppard, were among 83 student-athletes honored today as a Daktronics/NAIA All-America Scholar-Athlete, released by the national office in Kansas City, Mo.

Greif, a senior from Payette, and Sheppard, a senior from Nampa, were honored for being at least a junior in academic status and maintaining a 3.50 or higher cumulative grade point average at The C of I.

The C of I has registered 28 national scholar-athletes during the 2009-10 athletic season, with baseball and track & field still to be released.
