- Cascade Conference champions! The College of Idaho's men's basketball team earned a berth in the upcoming NAIA National Tournament by defeating Southern Oregon in the Cascade Conference title game. It marks the second straight year that the 'Yotes have won the conference's automatic berth to nationals by winning the end-of-season tourney.
- Check out the great work that alumni Jordan Bowman '14 and Edith Dull '15 are doing with Opera Elect. The pair helped bring tryouts for Opera Elect to the College's campus.
- Congratulations to Sarah Poe '18 as she is the new Malheur County Health Department director. Poe started at the College in the early 2000s, left the College after a few years, only to return quite some time later to finish as a non-traditional student while holding down a job and maintaining her family.
- College of Idaho instructor Alan Minskoff penned a guest opinion piece for the Idaho Press, urging leadership from Boise to visit the College's Cruzen Murray Library to get ideas on how to handle their library construction project.
- The College of Idaho will be the site and our own Arnoldo Hernandez will be one of the guest speakers at the 2019 Farmworker Awareness Conference on March 27.
- Alexa Brooks, a student in the College's Physician Assistant Studies cooperative program, penned this nice piece for the American Association of Physician's Assistants website.
- Caitlin Copple Masingill '04 is the founder and president of a new strategic communication firm, Full Swing Public Relations. The firm will specialize in women-owned businesses.
- The Whittenberger Planetarium has released its spring schedule and it has a distinct Moon-flavored theme.
- Speaking of the Planetarium, the STARLAB popped up recently on KIVI-TV.
- KIVI-TV also featured our students who studied abroad during the Winter Term in Belize.
- Caldwell police chief Frank Wyant, who moved to the area to attend The College of Idaho, earned big recognition for his work.
