- The announcement of our partnership with Blue Cross of Idaho to fund Heritage Scholarships drew a lot of attention. KIVI-TV (ch. 6) attended the announcement in Sterry Hall while the Idaho Press and Idaho Business Review also picked up coverage of the big news.
- KIVI was back on campus later in March, spotlighting First Responder's Day with The College of Idaho's softball team.
- KTVB-TV (ch. 7) joined several of our student-athletes in Marsing as senior Gibson Berryhill, who heads up the non-profit arm for BACON, a Boise restaurant, helped to get a basketball court for kids at Hope House.
- KTVB also visited the campus, when it stopped by the "Miss Amazing" competition, which was held here at The College of Idaho.
- Idaho Public Television is also getting in on the act a bit, as they are looking into helping to produce a series of shows based on a book written by College of Idaho instructor Alan Minskoff. The book is about small towns across the state. (Preston Citizen)
- Professors here at the College collaborated with professors at Boise State to identify a species of plant that has been hiding right in front of us. (Boise State Public Radio)

- Kris Komori '05 (left), a Distinguished Alumni award winner, is opening a restaurant in the heart of downtown Boise. (Idaho Statesman)
- Justin King '02, a member of our national alumni board, is movin' on up in the professional world. (Business Wire)
- Speaking of movin' on up ... Joshua Bolin ('03) received an impressive promotion at Ripley Doorn & Co. in Caldwell. (Idaho Business Review)
- Katie May '04 will have her play, which was originally produced here at the College, performed in San Francisco in May and June. (Broadway World)
- Kelly McLeod '85 received recognition as KTVB-TV's "Innovative Educator of the Week."
- Katie ('13) and Ricardo ('12) Osuna have been nominated for a 2019 James Beard Award in Broadcast Media – Podcasts for their Copper & Heat episode “Be a Girl.” (JamesBeard.org)
- Bret Arsenault '87 was the subject of an interesting story on security principles in technology. (Silicon Angle)

- English professor Diane Raptosh, left, received well-deserved recognition for her writing in the latest issue of Cavalcade, produced by the Idaho Press.
- Arnoldo Hernandez, the College's Director of Inclusion & Intercultural Engagement, also made an appearance recently in the Idaho Press as part of their coverage of Farmworker Awareness Week.
