The commencement ceremony will be held on Friday, August 2nd, at 1 PM in the Jensen Grand Concert Hall at the Stephens Performing Arts Center at ISU’s Pocatello campus.
Foreman and Hess teamed with Laport, Brad Stokes from the University of Idaho, the groundskeeping staff at the College, and student volunteers to plant several plants, like sagebrush, around Boone Hall in June and hope to plant even more native plants later this summer.
Ten years ago, Bob got the idea to rebuild one of the many historic hot springs on the Middle Fork. After a decade of planning and lobbying, he gained approval from the powers that be and his idea became reality in March. We were a part of it.
Fernando Barrios, Roxi Morales Velazco, and Maria Esther Manzanares will travel to Tantoyuca, Mexico, in June to complete their project, “Colaborando con Parteras: The Importance of Midwives and Recording of Indigenous Knowledge.”
