The Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies invites and provokes students to examine themselves and the world in comprehensive ways.

This program will challenge you to:

  • Look at fundamental aspects of human reasoning and discourse
  • Develop advanced critical skills in the areas of reading, writing, and analysis.
  • Investigate historical and contemporary philosophical topics such as ethics, philosophy of mind, and environmental philosophy.
  • Prepare for a wide range of career/graduate school opportunities.
