Transfer Application Checklist:
- Complete and Submit Free Application
- Official college transcript(s)- must be sent by issuing institution
- FAFSA (required for financial aid and complete award packages)
If transferring with fewer than 28 college credits:
- Official high school transcript or GED- must be sent by issuing institution
- ACT or SAT scores (or test-optional: Consult with Admission Counselor)
Transfer Requirements- PEAK
The College of Idaho generally accepts up to 90 transfer credits including up to 70 community college credits. Transfer students complete the PEAK Curriculum under the following guidelines:
- 50+ Completed Credits: 1 Major, Professional Minor, Transfer Core
- Cover 1 Academic PEAK with Major
- Professional PEAK Minor
- Transfer Core
- 29-49 Completed Credits: 1 Major, 2 minors, Transfer Core
- Cover 2 Academic PEAKs with 1 Major and 1 Minor
- Professional PEAK Minor
- Transfer Core
- 0-28 Completed Credits: 1 Major, 3 Minors
- HFA Program
- NSM Program
- SSH Program
- Professional PEAK Minor

Merit-Based Awards:
Students are automatically considered for merit scholarships upon acceptance to The College of Idaho for the 2023-24 academic year. These awards are based on cumulative college-level GPA and are allocated annually as follows:

Phi Theta Kappa: $1000 Annual Scholarship
Phi Theta Kappa members can receive an automatic annual scholarship. Please submit Proof of Membership with your application or to our admission office. If you're interested in joining PTK, you can find out if your college has a PTK advisor and contact them for information about joining.
Steps after Admission
- Reply to offer of Admission through The College of Idaho Portal
- Financial Aid chat with admission counselor (1-2 weeks after admission) upon FAFSA completion
- Pay $300 enrollment deposit through the College Portal to secure enrollment in courses and student housing if applicable
