Beauty surrounds The College of Idaho’s campus in southwest Idaho. Located in a region known as the Treasure Valley, our campus is ideally situated for both outdoor enthusiasts and those who want to enjoy the opportunities of a big city while living in a safe, residential community.
Caldwell
The College sits adjacent to the historic district of Caldwell, a city of more than 40,000 that lies at the heart of Idaho’s booming wine industry, and just 30 minutes northwest of Boise.
The Great Outdoors
Idaho is a land of awe-inspiring mountains, pristine rivers, and majestic forests, providing members of the College's community easy access to world-class whitewater rafting, fishing and skiing/snowboarding, as well as outstanding hiking and camping in the state with the most designated wilderness of any in the lower 48.
The City of Boise
Boise, a vibrant and growing city, offers numerous cultural, arts and entertainment, dining, and pro sports (hockey and baseball) offerings. In a single day, you can easily go skiing, golfing or whitewater rafting in the morning, visit a farmer’s market or attend a rodeo or baseball game in the afternoon, check out a concert in the evening, and still catch a late-night dinner.
Our Idaho setting inspires the mind and invigorates the body. We believe there's no better place to carry out the mission of The College of Idaho than here – a place that encourages variety, experimentation, and appreciation of almost everything imaginable.
