- Dr. William Judson Boone, the founder of The College of Idaho, once said, "Let them come, let them all come, and we will see what they can do." - Two prominent international students at the College were featured when discussing the impact of the proposed regulations. Lindo Gama '20 talked to the Idaho Press about the impact that would come from the ruling and Christian Garcia, a current student, was a guest on KSBX's Idaho Matters to discuss the topic.
- The College had planned to have in-person instruction when the Fall semester opened in August. After a lot of research and discussion with experts, the plan had to shift in order to protect the campus (and Caldwell) community. The College now has a phased re-opening plan that was covered by several media outlets, including Idaho Education News as well as the Idaho Press.

- That wasn't the only plan that was changed. Schedules for fall sports were moved to the spring. The College announced its intentions early to move sports like volleyball, soccer, cross country, and football that usually play in the fall to the spring. Conferences - and eventually the entire NAIA - followed suit. The story made headlines locally in both the Idaho Press and the Idaho Statesman.
