- Faculty, staff, and students at the College have been highly involved in this year's legislative session in Idaho. That includes Dr. Sally Brown of the Education department, who helped author proposed legislation aimed at dyslexia screening and preparedness along with testimony in front of Idaho's congressional leaders. - Dr. Nick Underwood, the College's Chair of Judaic Studies, has been awarded a fellowship grant from Brandeis University to support research on his new book project. (Brandies University)

- Is Caldwell, with the College as a big part of it, becoming "the new Boise?" (KIDO Radio)
- Caldwell - more specifically, the JA Albertson Activities Center - is at the heart of NAIA men's basketball this weekend as the College will host a "pod" of four teams (including the nationally-ranked Yotes) in the first two rounds of the national tournament. The team that survives the pod will advance to a different site as one of 16 teams remaining in the tournament. (Idaho Press)
- The Yotes qualified for the national tournament by winning the Cascade Conference regular-season title. (Idaho Press)
- The team enhanced its resume by defeating rival Southern Oregon to win the conference postseason tournament title, the fifth time the Yotes have won the conference tourney in the past eight years. (Idaho Press)
- Head coach Colby Blaine, senior Ricardo Time, and freshman Drew Wyman each earned major end-of-season honors from the Cascade Conference. (Idaho Press)
