The College of Idaho’s Bilingual and English as a New Language endorsement-only programs are intended for those certified teachers who wish to complete additional endorsements in Bilingual Education or English as a New Language (ENL), but who do not wish to complete the MEd degree. The English as a New Language endorsement consists of 20 credits and the Bilingual Education endorsement consists of 20-26 credits. An additional nine upper-division credits in Spanish and at least one additional credit of practicum placement in a K-12 bilingual setting will meet the requirements for an additional endorsement in Bilingual Education.
