Dr. Cheryl Schonhardt-Bailey, an Idaho native, earned her B.A. in political science from BSU and her M.A. and Ph.D. in political science from UCLA. She is a Fellow of the British Academy and served from 2019-2022 as Head of the Government Department at the London School of Economics. She is the author of several books and articles on trade policy, U.S. national security and pending work addressing Idaho wilderness land.
B.A. in Political Science from Boise State University; M.A. and Ph.D. in Political Science from University of California, Los Angeles. Graham Wallas Professor of Political Science and Fellow of the British Academy at the London School of Economics.
Dr. Stelios Panageotou’s research explores political economy and Critical Theory. His work examines the intersection of capitalist economies and democratic systems. He has published on Greece’s financial crisis and corporate political power. Dr. Panageotou holds a PhD from the University of Tennessee and has contributed to The SAGE Handbook of Political Sociology and Logos: A Journal of Modern Society and Culture.

Professor Jodi Nafzger teaches law and ethics and oversees Title IX and Title VI compliance and accessibility services at The College of Idaho. A former prosecutor specializing in domestic violence, she serves as a legal advisor to local police. Nafzger is active in the Idaho State Bar and on the board for JEMfriends, a nonprofit for youth aging out of foster care. She earned her J.D. from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
B.A. in Journalism with minors in Philosophy and German and J.D. from University of Missouri-Columbia; and graduate certificate in Political Journalism from Georgetown University. Graduate Associate Professor and Director Institutional Compliance at The College of Idaho.
Professor McKay Cunningham teaches a variety of law and policy courses and earned his B.A. and J.D. from Baylor University, where he was managing editor of the Baylor Law Review. He has published 12 law review articles and one monograph focusing on government, gerrymandering, and constitutional law. He is a regular commentator for NPR and PBS and frequently testifies before the California Idaho Legislatures.

John Michael Schert, a former dancer with American Ballet Theatre, is an entrepreneur and founder of a creative leadership consultancy. Schert is a former Eisenhower Fellow and has received awards from Boise Young Professionals and the Idaho Business Review. Schert’s work focuses on unlocking leadership pathways across various sectors, drawing on his multidisciplinary training at Harvard and University of Chicago.

Dr. Andrew Camp earned a B.S. in sociology from University of Nebraska and a M.S. in educational leadership and Ph.D. in education policy from University of Arkansas. He is a Senior Research Associate at the Annenberg Institute, and his research interests include school staffing challenges, teacher quality, and policies that target teacher retention and recruitment.
