- The annual Hispanic Youth Leadership Summit brought hundreds of area high school students to the College's campus in October and more than 130 of them went home that day with the promise of a college scholarship to The College of Idaho in their hands. In doing so, the Yotes qualified for the NAIA national tournament where, for the first time, the team picked up a win before being edged by the no. 1 team in the nation in the second round. - The men's and women's basketball team hosted "Meet the Yotes" night, a pre-season event that gave fans their first look at this year's teams. It included a dramatic end to the men's scrimmage, to the delight of the players and the fans. (KIVI-TV)
