- The National Speech & Debate Association (NSDA) awarded Maureen "Molly" Bruins '04 of St. Mary's High School in Medford, Oregon, its Diamond Coach Award which recognizes a professional career that combines excellence and longevity in speech and debate education. (KDRV)
- In a game that has to rank among the more dramatic football games ever played at the College, the Yotes picked up a win over Montana Western on the game's final play, a deep toss into the end zone that was caught off a deflection for the winning score. - The Yotes football team moved back into the NAIA's top 10 nationally, thanks to the win over Montana Western as well as a strong Homecoming win over Rocky Mountain. (KTVB)
