- Cheri Hicks ‘89 has been selected as a magistrate judge in Lincoln County, moving from the defense table to the bench after spending two decades as a public defender in neighboring Blaine County. The county seat for Lincoln County is Shoshone. The news was covered by both the Twin Falls Times News and the Idaho Mountain Express.
- Reinaldo Gil Zambrano '13 has found his way into a museum. The popular artist's show debuted on February 10 at the Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture in Spokane, Washington. (Spokesman Review)
- Greg Stalling '06 has been promoted to partner at B.A. Harris, an accounting firm started by current trustee Buck Harris '77. (Idaho Business Review)
- Riley O'Brien '17 is in spring training with the St. Louis Cardinals of Major League Baseball, attempting to get back to the bigs. He's one of just two former Yotes to play in the major leagues, along with Jason Simontacchi. (STLSportsPage.com)

- Speaking of the men's basketball team, the Yotes - the defending NAIA national champions - are on a roll as tournament play approaches. The team blasted rivals Oregon Tech and Southern Oregon at home, went on the road to dominate another rival (Lewis Clark State), and then came home to open its game with a 30-2 lead against Warner Pacific. - Brock Richardson was one of four members of the College's football team to earn NAIA Academic All-American honors, joining teammates Ben Hruby, Andy Peters and Garrett Rehberg.
