This fall, the class chose to operate a concession stand at each of the school’s home football games at Simplot Stadium and donate the money to charity.
The award is given to students nominated by staff and faculty as someone who best embodies the values of the College community. Those values include community, integrity, leadership, and service.
Kolb, a resident assistant in Finney Hall, recognized a student in need of help and called Campus Safety. Mahlangu, the student officer on duty at the time, responded and was able to perform CPR to help the student.
The list continues to the point Strother and Moulton say the College contains one of the widest and most diverse selections of music instructors in the region.
Many of the students that he meets are first-generation students so they’re just learning how the process works. The scholarship pledges, along with the opportunity to meet Hernandez, help show the students that they will have support and can succeed at the College.
