Austin Basterrechea serves as Interim Associate Vice President of Enrollment Management at The College of Idaho. Basterrechea previously served as Associate Athletic Director for the College from 2022-2025 and as the Head Track and Field & Cross Country Coach from 2016-2022. In the role as Associate Vice President of Enrollment Management, he oversees the admission and financial aid operations for the College. Basterrechea grew up in Gooding, Idaho and later attended The College of Idaho. Basterrechea received his B.S. in Environmental Science from The College of Idaho and was a member of the track & field team.
