Jack Cafferty
BIO
Jack Cafferty ’97 returned to The College of Idaho in July of 2012 as Director of Development. He successfully led the Development team through the final 5 years of the $175M “Advance the Legacy” campaign and led all major gift coordination and planned giving efforts. In May 2018, Jack became Associate Vice-President for College Relations, serving as an interim Vice President and taking on direction of the Development and Alumni & Parent Relations departments. Jack became Vice President for College Relations in April 2019 and quickly began orchestrating the $150M “Changing the Story” Comprehensive Campaign alongside Co-Presidents Brigham and Everett. In 2022, Jack added the Special Events department to the College Relations team. Prior to his work at The College of Idaho, Jack led a successful fundraising program as Director of The Peregrine Fund’s World Center for Birds of Prey for more than 11 years. In addition, he managed the Interpretive Center operations, volunteer program, and maintenance team for the 580 acres. Early in his career, upon graduation from the College, Jack worked in corporate real estate at Albertsons. Jack met his wife Ashley ’97 at the College on the bus to Sawtooth Orientation and his purple passion for the Yotes has spread to his two sons as well.
