The College of Idaho is home to 23 varsity athletic teams competing at the NAIA level. Our student-athletes are winners — not just in sports, but in life. Our coaches will help you become your best self, both on the field and in the classroom. And you will enjoy the support of the YoteFam — our community of die-hard fans who will cheer you on to great success.
More than half of students at The College of Idaho compete for one of our varsity teams. Our student-athletes have captured more than two dozen individual national titles in skiing, snowboarding, and track and field, along with team national championships in men’s and women’s cross country and men’s basketball, baseball and skiing. Since 2011 alone, the College has brought home 23 NAIA national titles and has seen multiple student-athletes go on to play professionally in leagues around the world, including Major League Baseball.
In addition to winning on the field, our student-athletes dominate in the classroom. Each year, the College is among the national leaders in Academic All-Americans and NAIA Scholar-Athletes.

I will cherish for the rest of my life being able to play in front of such a loyal crowd on the basketball court. Every single year I have played here, we have been in the top 3 in NAIA attendance. That is another testament to our close-knit community and social connection on campus. We have the best student section in the whole NAIA which has made my experience as a college basketball player that much more special.

The community of the College is truly something special. The College of Idaho drew my interest for the unique opportunity to double major with three minors while being able to compete on both the soccer and softball teams. When I came on my first visit to the College, I felt so comfortable in the atmosphere on campus. Despite living only 10 minutes away at the time, I felt like the College was its own community full of new experiences.
