2026 Commencement Ceremony

Start – May 16, 2026 10:00 AM

End – May 16, 2026 12:00 PM

Venue – Morrison Quadrangle

The College of Idaho will celebrate the Class of 2026 with an on-campus Commencement celebration on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., on the Quad at the center of campus with the steps of Boone Hall serving as the celebration stage. Boone Hall provides a picturesque setting for the ceremony, with the recently-remodeled entrance and historic steps serving as an iconic backdrop for the ceremony as the statue of Dr. William Judson Boone, the founder of The College of Idaho, looks out over the attendees.

At the College, there are no tickets to attend Commencement exercises, and there is no assigned seating. Typically, the event is held outdoors, and we recommend coming prepared for the weather. We recommend arriving prior to 9:30am for optimal seating.

We encourage everyone involved to make this a positive experience for everyone and ask that students and guests show and treat everyone with respect and protect the integrity of our Commencement Ceremony.

For additional information about the ceremony, regalia and becoming a Yote alum, please review our Guide to Commencement, and for access to images/video which will be available after the event, please review our website
