From Shakespeare to contemporary plays to musical theatre, The College of Idaho is proud to bring exciting mainstage productions to our campus.  

Also, each year, The College of Idaho holds dozens of professional-level musical performances, including opera and musical theatre productions.  The College is also home to Caldwell Fine Arts and the Langroise Trio – one of the premier string chamber ensembles in the Western U.S. – providing easy access to world-class performances.

Nickel and Dimed

Join us for our upcoming production of Nickel and Dimed by Joan Holden based on Nickel and Dimed: On (Not) Getting By in America by Barbara Ehrenreich. Showing Nov. 6-8 & 13-15 at 7:30pm and Nov. 16 at 2:00pm in the Langroise Studio Theatre.

Information for Theatre Patrons

Box office opens a half hour before house opens on all performance dates.  

  • Take I-84 to exit #29 (Franklin exit) in Caldwell. 
  • Turn left (if coming from Boise) and cross over the highway. 
  • Go down the hill, staying on 21st Ave. and cross railroad tracks. 
  • Turn right at first stoplight (Blaine Street). 
  • Take the first left (20th Avenue). 
  • Cross Cleveland Blvd. (the College is there in front of you and to the left). 
  • Turn left at Fillmore Street before Marty Holly Athletic Building (at Jewett Auditorium sign). 
  • Look to your left. 
  • The newer red, brick building is Langroise Center for Performing and Visual Arts where the Studio Theatre is housed. 

There is no charge for parking at the theatre. The lot between Langroise Center and Jewett Auditorium is most convenient. 

All seating at the Langroise Studio Theatre, Recital Hall and Eros Theatre is general admission, on first-come-first-serve basis (accessible seating is available). Doors open 30 minutes before curtain. 

Online ticket sales close at 3:00 pm the day of the evening performances, 10:00 am the day of the matinee performances. Tickets may still be purchased in person at the Langroise Box Office prior to the show with cash or card, if available. All online tickets can be picked up at will-call on the day of the performance. Tickets that have been reserved by phone should be picked up no later than 10 minutes before curtain. If not, they may be sold to waiting patrons should the performance sell-out.

NOTE: If you are Student/Staff/Faculty at the College, you must show a valid ID at will call. If you do not have a valid ID, you will need to purchase your ticket at the standard adult price of $15.
