Join us for the 2026 Henberg Environmental Lecture featuring Jenny Odell, author of How to Do Nothing and Saving Time. In her lecture, “Deep Listening as the Beginning of Dialogue,” Odell explores how we can reclaim attention and mindfulness in a world filled with constant distractions. Drawing on ecology, philosophy, and art, she challenges conventional ideas of productivity and efficiency, offering practical strategies to slow down, reconnect with purpose, and engage more meaningfully with the world around us.
A President’s Reception and book-signing will follow the lecture, giving attendees the opportunity to purchase Odell’s books and meet the author.
