Homecoming and Family Weekend 2026 is October 2–4! Everyone is invited! Students, parents, alumni, and friends are all welcome back to campus for a weekend full of music, connection, and Yote spirit. Whether it’s been one year or fifty since you’ve been back on campus, we hope you’ll join us.
Special reunions and celebrations this year include:
- A Yote Educators Reunion (come get Yote Pennants for your classrooms and schools)
- An “All Spirit Squads” reunion (Cheer, Dance, Color Guard, and more team – all eras of alumni welcome)
- A “Toast to Professor Kerry Hunter” from his former and current students (share your memories of Kerry here)
- An Alumni Softball game, celebrating the 25th Anniversary of Yotes Softball
- Strahorn Hall’s 100th Anniversary (share memories here to help us celebrate the Strahorn Centennial)
- The “Yotechella Music Festival” on Friday, October 2nd (*More info below)
*Throughout the day on Friday, October 2, we invite all Yote music makers to join us for our “Yotechella Music Festival.” At pop up stages across campus you can look forward to hearing the melodies, harmonies, and instrumental offerings of our Yote musicians. Friday, October 2
- 8:00 a.m. – Treasure Valley Business Breakfast
- 12:00 p.m. – Presidential Luncheon
- 4:00 p.m. – Alumni Awards
- 6:30 p.m. – Barbecue and bonfire in the Quad
Saturday, October 3
- 10:00 a.m. – Start the morning with a pre-game tailgate in the JAAC parking lot
- 12:00 p.m. – Cheer on the Yotes at our Homecoming game vs. Simpson. Kickoff starts at noon at Simplot Stadium
Sunday, October 4
- 11:00 a.m. – Alumni Softball game – 25th Anniversary of College of Idaho Softball Program
