His work challenges the misconception that Treblinka was an isolated site, instead revealing how its presence was deeply intertwined with surrounding communities.Sponsored by the Craig H. Neilsen Foundation and organized by Dr. Nick Underwood, Assistant Professor of History and Chair of Judaic Studies, the Neilsen Lecture Series brings distinguished scholars to campus each year to explore Jewish history, culture, and contemporary issues.
