Financial assistance at The College of Idaho comes in several forms: merit-based scholarships, talent-based scholarships, need-based aid, federal loans and grants. Each student is automatically considered for a merit-based scholarship when they apply for admission. Talent scholarships are awarded based on performance and participation in athletics and fine arts programs at the College. Need-based and federal aid is granted based on a student’s demonstrated need and eligibility indicated on their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
