The Associated Students of The College of Idaho (ASCI) consists of elected and appointed student government leaders. Your ASCI representatives are responsible for ensuring that campus life at The College of Idaho is vibrant and inclusive and our students feel welcomed and supported through their academic journey.
Additionally, ASCI Representatives manage the use of student fees, set policy for all of those areas that are considered Student Activities, and serve as a vehicle for student involvement in the governance of the College.

Being a Gipson Honors Scholar and ASCI Student Body President 2024-2025 did not slow Amara Davidson ’25 down at all. She performed in several theatre productions, traveled the globe and made time to express her artistry through the Cooking Club and Creative Writing Club. To me, there is no other college that I would benefit more from than The College of Idaho because of its intimate classroom settings, professor availability, and endless opportunities with networking. Through resources of the College, I secured job interviews, internships, and community-based opportunities that I know I would not have received elsewhere.
B.A. in Biomedical Science and Business Administration with a minor in Philosophy. ASCI Student Body President 2022-2023 & Varsity Football Offensive Lineman.
I chose The College of Idaho due to its innovative curriculum that allowed me to personalize my course of study. Having two majors and three minors has allowed me to take a diverse range of classes, each contributing to making me a more well-rounded individual. The College also provides great mentorship opportunities. My advisors got to know me personally and assisted me with internships and other opportunities outside of the classroom.
B.A. in Accounting 150 and Political Economy with minors in Communication, and Natural Sciences and a specialization in Finance. ASCI Program Council.
I chose The College of Idaho because I was really drawn to the small, tight-knit community. I grew up in a large city for most of my life, so I wanted to be in a place where I could get to know my professors and classmates personally, and where I wouldn’t feel like just another face in the crowd. The idea of being part of a supportive and closes community was really important to me, and The College of Idaho felt like the perfect fit.
B.A in Mathematics and Computer Science with minors in Art & Design and Psychology.
The College of Idaho grabbed my attention when I was first looking to transfer from a large university. I knew that when I came to visit and walked around campus it felt like where I needed to be. I was able to meet the presidents of the College and they were down to earth and willing to talk to us about anything. Not long after the visit, I knew I was going to become a Yote.

I had dreams of going to college in a big city. But after meeting with professors at CofI, that changed. They encouraged me to apply for a scholarship, saying “we think you’d be great.” They didn’t even know me, but they were already giving me so much opportunity. I got the clear message that “hey, there’s a place for you here; we want you here; and we want you to be able to come here and succeed.”

I love The College of Idaho because of the incredible mentors any student can interact with inside or outside the institution. The Co-Presidents and Provost have been instrumental in being available mentors biweekly! They helped facilitate my interest in biology, business, and healthcare and introduced me to fantastic mentors.
