As part of a collaboration that has existed between the College and the Salmon River Clinic since 1975, Madeline Pentz ’28 and Nevaeh Williams ’28 share their experience interning at a rural health clinic in Stanley, Idaho, and how developing critical clinical skills has helped advance their aspirations to attend medical school.
Each summer, College faculty and students partner with the Wood River YMCA to bolster educational outcomes for children in Idaho’s Wood River Valley. Despite being a popular recreational, tourist-heavy destination, many families struggle economically, often resulting in their children falling behind their peers academically.
