We strongly encourage student scholarship at The College of Idaho and our faculty are here to mentor you along the way. You’ll have plenty of support as you pursue research in any scientific or creative field.
Develop critical thinking, analytical and communication skills by not only engaging in research, but also showcasing it our annual Student Research Conference and at academic conferences across the globe. Learn to give research talks, develop and present research posters, structure a creative performance or convene and lead a roundtable or panel. This Is an opportunity for curious scholars and artists to tell their stories of Inquiry and creation and engage In Interdisciplinary community dialogue.

Discover innovation, creativity, and academic excellence at our Student Research Conference. This annual event showcases outstanding undergraduate research across a wide range of disciplines, highlighting the hard work, curiosity, and achievements of College of Idaho students.
Although outlawed in 1968, racial covenants remain attached to thousands of homes and properties in Idaho. The Redline Project led by CofI faculty and students seeks to unearth those racial covenants and empower Idahoans to nullify them.
