Jackson Nassir Library Art Installation

Thanks to Jackson Nassir, a senior majoring in business and art, visitors to the Cruzen Murray Library may come by beauty with ease. His art installation traverses all three stories of the building and, through masterly craftsmanship, carries a story of life, death, and beauty throughout. Visitors to the library might begin their journey on the building’s top floor, where blue, gold, and black silk flowers first arrest the attention.

Brain Tumor Research Award

Two College of Idaho students earned top honors at a National Institutes of Health conference for their presentation of findings from their research into a fast-growing brain tumor. Ruby Olvera, a junior double majoring in biomedical science and business administration, and Colton Troxel, a junior majoring in biomedical science, were awarded the Best Undergraduate Student Oral Presentation at the 2025 Western Regional IDeA Conference in Anchorage, Alaska, in February.
