The College of Idaho campus community reflects the diversity of our nation and the world. Currently, international students from over 70 different countries comprise more than ten percent of our student body. Our U.S. students come from across the country and include almost 30 percent who are Hispanic, African-American, Asian-American, American Indian, or multi-ethnic.
The Office of Inclusion and Intercultural Engagement works to promote respect and understanding for cultural diversity in all its forms, create an inclusive campus environment, and provide programming opportunities that will better prepare students to thrive in a global society once they graduate from The College of Idaho.
Our office, located on the second floor of the McCain Student Center, supports the College's international and minority students in reaching their academic goals through several initiatives, including our department mentoring program. We also oversee several student organizations including:
- AFRO Club (African Americans, Friends, Relatives, and Others)
- The Association of Latino Americano Students (ALAS)
- The International Student Organization (ISO)
- College of Idaho Food Bank Organization
