All residence hall rooms are equipped with a twin bed (either standard size (ST) or extra-long (XLT)), a desk/study space and chair, a dresser, and a closet space or wardrobe for each individual assigned to the room as well as individual-room heating/cooling. Most of the rooms on campus are multiple occupancy, meaning they are set up for more than one student; this means you will most likely have a roommate. We recommend that you coordinate with your roommate on larger or more expensive items to save money and space. As a reminder, every residence hall has laundry areas, study spaces, kitchens, a community space, and all-building WiFi.
We welcome you to the College’s Residence Life community – which is a supportive, comfortable and fun environment. Our rooms have ample space, but not unlimited space. So, we encourage you to review our recommended packing list and pack wisely.
Residence Life at The College of Idaho is truly special. You’ll share meals, laugh through late-night conversations and grow alongside other students who care deeply about their future and yours.
